About Me

Hello my name is Nichole Belden. 

 

I am a multi-talented artist who utilizes the medium of photography, I am a current ballet dancer with English National Ballet School and have just graduated from Academy of Art University majoring in Fine Arts with a photography emphasis.  I like to create unique, powerful, transformative visuals for ballet dancers, dance companies, and editorial publications that captivate viewers' imaginations and draw them into the theatre. 

I have spent five years shooting dance for a variety of clients including Ohio Conservatory Ballet, Canton Ballet, American Repertory Ballet, North Pointe Ballet, and company members from Atlanta Ballet, Canada National Ballet, along with many others. When shooting dance I deliberately and consciously chose the perfect visual style that translates the power and emotion of motion into still images.

 

Described by clients as “unique”, “evocative”, “timeless “and “mysterious”, my images reach out and grab the attention of the viewer taking them into a visual world where dance imagery combines.
